lets see if it is worthit ...
we take an average 7 years...

let says 70k loan ..

7 years extra 7% = 4900 ...

if discount can get more then 5k .. more worthit
*
now my case is 4k discount from proton, RM200 discount from SA and a full tank
oh and higher value in the waja i trade in(RM18k)
2.7% interest rate
worth or not?

Also depends on how many years you take.
*
i see
i just calculated using the loan calculator..not sure accurate or not...correct if i'm wrong here
if current deal
RM89500 - RM18000(trade in) - RM4000(EON discount) - RM200(SA discount) = RM67300(2.7%/7 years) = RM881/month
whereas the 1.85%
RM89500 - RM18000(trade in) = RM71500(1.85%/7years) = RM909/month
seem the current one more worthed

i think this is the year end deal...its already year end
i think instead of coming out with a new one, they would mostly use back with a little extra...same time and money
i think if u want the best deal, is to buy showroom car

just back test drive the preve and inspira...the difference is quite big
and my reference are my saga BLM
1st i test drive the preve...the SA go start the engine 1st, 1st start already have that "krak" start sound that i saw previously in video
but thn he off it, thn start again 2 time...no more that sound....he said misfire
thn after that, i enter the car, upon enter, head hit the top of the door, and i'm not high..just around 170CM only
compared to my saga, i have no such issue like that...this car suddenly can hit my head
thn when switching gear, i notice that the gap between the gear lever and the armrest is too close, i literally have to bend my hand when switch hear....another not good point
and the gear knob sooo plasticky...my 40k saga's gear knob way better
and the gear lever, i dn't know those who drive be4, when switch between gear, it has that "tak" between gears....its not like very smooth
like something plastic between the gear and its not smooth switch and need quite abit of energy to push
upon driving it, theres still that noticeable delay...like when u stop thn the car infront moves thn u have to press gas again thn the RPM revs for nothing
i like the turbo, i can hear it whine but the delay kinda too noticeable
and without the turbo, like stop at traffic light, when just started moving....it feels very very heavy....like no power whatsoever
in terms of comfort, i try drive on those very bumpy road, the multilink really works, it absorbs the bump well but not as well as the inspira...inspira on bumpy road, u won't even feel it, u will only hear little bit of it

i think the difference is there already...quite big
not to say preve is a bad car, but better wait facelift, lets hope they design it better
its really inconvenience from going into the car to shifting of the gear
for bumpiness, the multilink surely did it job but still can feel the bump abit and clearly can hear
whereas in inspira, u won't feel it and only hear alittle of it only..like a soft tuk tuk
in terms of high speed..yes, i agree...very stable(both)...i tried drive until 110KM/H..no feeling whatsoever
once i'm in the inspira, door closing sound more solid
once start engine, barely can hear engine sound, rev it also hardly can hear unlike the preve
if it wasn't for those inconveniences, i might be considering preve...but too bad it has too many flaws

oh and what is that u guys say abt the chassis number?....got what differences?
the one i drive just nw(inspira) wasn't a test drive unit, it was a brand new unit..he took me to the stockyard

chassis number below 14000 u will still have all the hidden wiring and feature...

most 2.0e still have old stock..

my 2 cents.. dun get car tat is less than 3 months old.. bcoz paint not yet settle down.. easier to get stone chip..
*
i dn't know the car i drive just now was how old though but can see its parked there quite long already
the whole stockyard, all preve...theres only ONE inspira there and its a 2.0E as well
and by the chassis number, u mean the last few numbers is it?
just now i took a look. its 013499

Chasis Number around the 13xxx region has extra cables still around (tweeter, folding mirrors, bonnet sensor, etc etc)

Above 14xxx then all those wires are removed to save cost (since it is not used)
*
sendiri install outside is it?

Lolz...

anyway ..

Mr Alien ...

u might wanna know more in details..

Folding mirror wire - It is in place .. no relay in ETACS thou .. no motor in side mirror thou.. but if u wan install its much simpler as u add module and tap to the existing wire only. I found some CRAZY modders (non local) whom actually disassemble the ETACS and solder the 2 missing relay in ..  doh.gif

headlight leveling switch - our headlights comes with motor to level it manually (through switch) .. or automated with sensor (gyro) .. Juz need to buy the switch and plug in .. as simple as that..

Hood sensor switch - is just a switch for security where if someone open ur hood when the car is lock , the alarm will make noise. there are DIY version sold by mr XCinspire. Cheapskate version ..

chassis number above 15000 .. all these are missing already ... maybe more ...
like 4wd socket (i found it .. but God knows what can we do with it .. since JPJ doesnt allow 4WD conversion)
side airbag wiring ..
passenger seatbelt alert wiring ..
knee airbag wiring..
*
thats alot
seem like that 30k-40k difference is there as well
so much thing missing

oh u comparing against lancer ?

the latest lancer comes with the folding mirror .... (2012) ..

as for the headlight leveling .. no.. lancer do not comes with it ..
so as the hood switch as well.. doesnt comes with it either..
*
ic, i thought many things missing like u said tongue.gif
i am a very easy to satisfied, no need for those fancy stuff
folding mirror looks cool but never needed
as for the "brake lock"....the SC will add it or it stays like that?..the car i drove just now didn't auto lock

i haven't confirm colour....can he do that?
if not wrong, the chassis number has to be submitted with the loan application is it?

ahh...after much disscusion, although the 2.0E is giving very good discount and is a really good car and all
decided not to buy already becuz my bro is going to finish STPM soon, if bought the car, the car would just stay there only(no one drive) while at the same time the loan is ongoing
now going for 2nd hand car ...probably honda civic EG9
but if i were to really want to buy a car, inspira really a good choice after that day test drive between the preve and inspira
quieter, smoother...although not as many feature as the preve, really..mitsu is mitsu
plus, u have to love the car if u buy the car, not love the features as you're not gonna be using it always
