Dear All;

ShuangFu is organising a fund raising charity dinner (dinner on 26th October in Kepong). ShuangFu is a non-profit Christian organisation for the disabled. Since its establishment, Shuang Fu has been diligently training and developing the skills of the disabled to realise their potential and self- independence. Over a period of 11 years from 2001 until now they have gone through ups and downs in their pursuit of progress. With the increase in numbers and the absence of a permanent place, Shuang Fu has to meet high rental expenses. Every time Shuang Fu relocates they have to incur high costs i.e. finance, manpower and material costs to provide suitable facilities for the disabled.

They have a big dream – To have their own place that they can call home within the next 5 years. Shuang Fu’s own building will centralise all the various operations and training departments, disabled – friendly dormitories, canteen, meeting and conference rooms, rehabilitation centre and etc under one roof.

Although the disabled face many inconveniences and obstacles they will not allow themselves to be defeated. Instead they have great determination to overcome challenges. In terms of artistic skills, they have excelled in the area of dance and soared above their limitations and national boundaries to even the international stage.

We warmly invite you to participate in this charitable event to support and affirm the artistic talents of the disabled. Together we shall realise the dream of Shuang Fu having its very own building.
