Anyone safely flashed sweden's JB?

My wife has been complaining about the battery's life.
She fully charged this morning 100%, rarely used. Reach office, 80%.. now is down with 50%!

The only downside of the phone is the battery. Anybody has any fix?

I want to install Sweden JB on my wife's S3. Just for confirmation of the steps.

If I want to use PC Odin, do I just:

1) Fully charge.
2) Download from sammobile.
3) Plug to PC. Reboot and goes to download mode.
4) Upload to PC Odin and flash.

I don't have to Root right?

If I use MobileOdin then I have to root? Correct me.

flashed sweden. Rooted my wife's s3. hehe..

What do you guys do after root? Don't quite understand the use of rooting android device.
