Hi all... I already asked at previous page but seems nobody reply. I would like to share my data quota to my laptop. But seems cannot. Is it require to install any apps for assist?

I on: setting - more setting - portable WiFi hotspot on.

Then I try use my laptop search the WiFi from s3, found it and connected, but just can't acess the internet.

Try change the broadcast channel to either 6 or 11 (can be found in Portable wifi hotspot -> configure (bottom right) -> tick show advance options) see if that helped, it helped for me. cheers

Somehow for certain graphic intensive games, my S3 will have problems with the sound for the games. It will be very jerky like being on a phone call at a place with very bad reception. So far it has happened to me on games like Asphalt 6, Mass Effect, and Fifa 2012. I've cleared the cache and even tried redownloading the whole additional data needed for the games, but the same issue persists.

Anyone know of any solution to this? The game runs smoothly, but very potong stim with the sound like that

On a side note, I played with a Note 2 earlier today and was very impressed by it..sigh..poison poison!

Is there any "theme" for Google IME Keyboard that could make it look brighter?

I've used to Google IME keyboard, I have no complain to it and I like it... except the color is too dark.
Sometimes quite difficult to see the symbol (those symbol below the alphabet).
I need those symbols because I can easily enter it simply by swipe down on the same key.
Black on dark grey seems not a good idea.



Tried dig into Accessibility option menu but still can't find anything to change the keyboard color.

Okay prob solved. I changed to 11. but why change to certain channel only can instead of auto channel? (Just asking)

On my siggy.

1. Download the file and save on your sd.
2. Backup and wipe data, cache and dalvik.
3. Install.

Of course this have to be done with CWM for action 2 & 3

I read from some forum quite sometime back that the when "auto" is selected some how the channel keep on changing and not locked hence device connected not getting any data from phone at all. Hence we need to manually lock it to a channel. smth like that. Glad it helped, cheers

hey all s3 users here, i have seen so many bad comments about the battery life draining too fast in the s3... simple question here, could i use a bigger battery on s3? lets say i replace it with 2500mAh instead of their 2100 mAh one?
