Package stated 1m 2m4m are 384k. Our DSLAM hard cap upload speed at 512k. Expect slightly speed lost, so we got 320-420k upload speed

actually they only need to change your port at their side

just to make sure your line is eligible to handle the 4Mbps rate so there's a technician or contractor will go there and make sure everything is working as it should

come to ur house, access to your modem, checking stats, and make a call to their station, pull the plug and put on 4Mbps, you lost ur DSL signal for a min, and modem stats updated, changed to 4Mbps, if it's stable and ok, the technician enable ur account from 512k/1Mbps to 4Mbps with their staff only web service, then speedtest,

if speed ok, done smile.gif

and they will still give u the free tm wifi modem even you already have ur own better modem


if speed test fail or the dsl line unstable / random dc or not reaching the 4Mbps speed, with bad SNR margin rate, too high attenuation

then they will suggest you to downgrade back to 1Mbps sad.gif

oh god, currently facing slowdown, Sarawak area

anyone? ping to some TM dns normal, some also unstable, high ping up to 200ms to google dns

all speedtest seems unstable, bugged

P2P throttle hits few days ago, before that was unthrottled


if speedtest, only local servers normal

any oversea servers all unstable speed, starting is max speed, then few second later the speed stopped, dropping slowly to 20-40kB/s

they screw up at the DSLAM

the problem could be just ur phone line cable

so you need to call them again about the incorrect speed cap

it's annoying that streamyx isn't disconnected, but lost internet connection all of sudden at TM side

it's like your streamyx still connected and online, but no internet at all

just happen once last night during a dota 2 game sleep.gif

all my teammates, my friends that from same location as me dc from dota 2 at the same time lol, confirm is local TM failed

then almost a min recover,

thank god we are able to reconnect in dota 2 ~_~

time to start heavier p2p throttling for bandwidth to handle incoming heavy load

right now I'm back to VPN, continuing full speed torrent downloading

some ppl got the chance to upgrade to Unifi but wanted to stay with adsl

and some ppl stuck at adsl and wanted to go Unifi because of poor quality adsl service, yet they got no Unifi and probably not in next 5-20years or never

it is known problem, that's the one of local youtube CDN server has slow problem

when we are requesting a youtube video, it picks content from a CDN randomly

if u got the problem cdn, then your youtube speed will be slow and buffering


just refresh few more times, and switching the quality, you will get a different cdn by a chance and got full speed back
