Mine is regularly 300+ but speed is alright, speedtests and downloads hover around 3.6-4.2Mbps.

Package stated 1m 2m4m are 384k. Our DSLAM hard cap upload speed at 512k. Expect slightly speed lost, so we got 320-420k upload speed

These few days my 4mb line speed max can only reach up to 200kB/s. Anyone face the same thing?

Sure, Extra 1mbps, and 5mbps upload vs 384k.

aiyo, no use de la complain to SKMM ,did it few months ago, all they ask me to do is lodge a report to TM,after that, they will inform tm abt my prob,after that tm tech come to my house,problem solved,after few days ,problem back again, gusshhh lazy to report liao

want to ask do I need to use the modem they provide when i subscribe to this 4Mbps package?

currently I am using RM88 package which is my own modem, I was thought that it just do something at their end and the 4Mbps package can be use with my modem, is this right?

Whether they give free modem or not, u can use your own modem lah.. no need to use TM modem..

just curious cause the TM Point staff told me will contact me in a week and the TM people will go my house settle for me... i was thinking my house do nothing just wait they change the port to 4Mbps at their end

actually they only need to change your port at their side

just to make sure your line is eligible to handle the 4Mbps rate so there's a technician or contractor will go there and make sure everything is working as it should

come to ur house, access to your modem, checking stats, and make a call to their station, pull the plug and put on 4Mbps, you lost ur DSL signal for a min, and modem stats updated, changed to 4Mbps, if it's stable and ok, the technician enable ur account from 512k/1Mbps to 4Mbps with their staff only web service, then speedtest,

if speed ok, done

and they will still give u the free tm wifi modem even you already have ur own better modem


if speed test fail or the dsl line unstable / random dc or not reaching the 4Mbps speed, with bad SNR margin rate, too high attenuation

then they will suggest you to downgrade back to 1Mbps
