Hi,

Yes, in fact, all NFC tags are programmable with a NFC app available from Google Play Store. We highly recommend NFC Task Launcher.
So when you have a new contact number next time, you just have to re-encode your tag using the app.

P/S: Normally there's a write option to 'lock' your tag. So, remember not to 'lock' your tag, because once you do that, it will be read-only.

Regards,
The Tapway team

Hey ejoeflizzow,

That's the only design we have currently. We do not offer customization of designs unless orders come in a bulk (i.e. 200 pieces at a go).
We're working hard to get our hands on equipments so that we can offer this service.
Would you want to try out the one we have and maybe we can notify you next time when we offer the service?

Cheers. smile.gif

does this work to give password to guests when at our home? ie. turn on wifi and enter wifi  password.
*
Yup. There are different apps to achieve this, Instawifi would be a pretty good app. The guest would have to download the app before being able to tap and access your wifi.
The guest, without the app, can tap on the NFC tag and he/she will be led to the app download page in the Google Play Store.
Or you can even transfer your app from your phone via NFC. smile.gif

Cheers.

Hi,

All our tags are re-programmable with any NFC app available Play Store.

The mode tags are decorated with common mode identifiers (car, home, night, office) and in different colors than the standard tag. The difference is only decorative.

can blackberry user re-programmable tags with any NFC app?
*
For Blackberry users, you have to purchase this app called NFCShortcuts in order to launch shortcuts using NFC. Here is the link: http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/co.../65183/?lang=en

no understand the usage of this tag.

can explain further????
*
Hi,

Our NFC tags can help you simplify tasks and save time whether you're in your car, at home or in your office. For example, when you step into your car, you would set your bluetooth, turn on GPS, set Car Mode, open Maps app, play music etc. It is very tedious to accomplish all tasks, more so when you're rushing. With our NFC tag on your car, you can accomplish all these tasks with just one simple 'tap'! These tags are re-programmable using a free app (e.g. NFC Task Launcher from Google Play Store).

Hope I answered your question.

Please do not hesitate to follow up.

QUOTE(hebehow @ Nov 5 2012, 02:10 PM)
hi,is that all the nfc tag at the market could perform all the multiple task by 1 tap using NFC task launcher or only the nfc tag u sold?
*
Hey hebehow,

Any NFC tags currently in the market should be able to perform all the task using any apps that are available in the Google Play Store (not only NFC Task Launcher).
However, if you're using a Blackberry (sadly sad.gif) you may not be able to configure the and use certain tags (i.e. our Personal Contact Card) due to compatibility issues (and of course lack of app support).

Hope that clears it up for you. smile.gif

so you need to enable bluetooth/wifi all the time in order to "tap" it??
*
Dear darkdevilrey,

Nope, all you need to do is to turn NFC on (please note that not all phone models have NFC at the moment).
Bluetooth and WiFi are different technologies altogether.

Cheers. smile.gif

So what are the limitation on blackberry? Beside personal contact card. So that means I have to purchase NFC shortcut for blackberry in order to fully utilize it?
*
Dear evoangel,

We're are not too sure ourselves as we have not really tested on the Blackberry platform. Big chance that you may not be able to use the Personal Contact Card because of compatibility issues as well.
If you have tried with any Blackberry NFC apps, please do give us some feedback as well. smile.gif

Hi Evoangel,

Even though we have not fully tested NFC on the BlackBerry platform, based on our research, in order to fully utilize NFC function on your phone, you need two paid apps called NFCShortcuts and ShortcutMe. Please read this article for more details on how to use NFC on BB: http://crackberry.com/how-use-nfc-tags-blackberry.

Also note that our Personal Contact Card, which uses the Mifare Classic standard, is not supported by the BlackBerry platform unfortunately. However, all other tags are supported by BlackBerry.

If you're interested, try our tags out and give us some feedback. =)

Regards,
Chee How

Dear yellow_label2207,

The quickest method at the moment is by Poslaju/Posekspress as we are all caught up with work.
Both post methods only require 1 day to reach, with extra RM6 for Poslaju and RM3 for Posekpress.
We would be happy to take bank transfer in the case if you could not purchase via our website here.

Sorry and thanks!

Added on November 29, 2012, 10:18 amSo the different 'mode' tags is only for decorative purpose? What do you mean by 'not come pre-programmed'?
*
Hey ymir06kw,

Thanks for interest! smile.gif
Yes the different mode tags are decorative purpose for users to easily differentiate the uses for each tags.
Users are to program the tags using NFC apps from Google Play Store, we do not pre-configure it with any settings.

QUOTE(b7tchinc @ Nov 29 2012, 01:55 PM)
Hi, Just wanted to clarify..for instance if i want to switch on my bluetooth in my car, i tap it on the sticker..wat if i tap it again will it switch off my bluetooth ? i'm interested in this because i want to use bluetooth only in my car and to save battery at home switch it off..
*
Hey b7tchinc,

Yes you can make a switch from the tag.
If you're using the NFC Task Launcher app, simply create a task for bluetooth on and another separate task for bluetooth off. Then, when you encode/program the tag, you will need to create a New Switch tag, which you will put bluetooth on and bluetooth off.
Your tag will become a switch to turn on/off your bluetooth each time you tag it.

Hope that helps..

Cheers.
