The different level of thinking between Proton basher and someone who knows the fact.

I'm not very patriotic and I do support Proton not because of patriotism. I support them because they are worthy than what most people thought.

The 'national car' label have more negative notion than good.  We all have to admit that Proton had made wrong business  decision and a lot of mistake in the past. From car pricing, bad vendors, marketing plan etc. 

Now they are more 'cerdik' when it comes to platform development and platform sharing.   Before this, all hentam come with 1 model and 1 platform.  No future planning at all.

Now they should do what the hyundai did. When hyundai entered american markets, they are laughing stock. Bad reputation due to reliability, quality and what not.

I do think they learned their mistake. I do hope so.

You cannot make something if no one wants to buy.

korean started at 1962. on 1993, their car won best car award in australia. (30 years)

malaysia started on 1983. based on the argument by proton-fag, we should be winning the award in 2014.
