Hi, If Synology compatibility website doesn't say so then officially I wouldn't be able to confirm otherwise.

But, being a router, and a router is a router..what makes mikrotik so unique that it is different from other routers ie. Belkin, Cisco, netgear, etc. ?

Synology warranty is a local Synology warranty, not international. All warranty claim is against the local authorised distributors. Hope tat explains.

Hi, logically you just hv to hook up the Synology to the DAS and get the DAS pool recognized within Synology. But since there is no formal support from local Synology about this setup so you have to try it on your own if you decide to purchase. fyi Both systems are coming from a same distributor.
