bro, looking for a NAS that can house 3HDD. How's AS3104T compare to QNAP with the similar range ? NAS intended for SME with about 4~8 person accessing share folder. Will be good if can access file remotely via mobile apps and IP cam in the future.

Hi,Those features that you mentioned are pretty much standard offering from all the NAS, so it boils down to the budget and brand preferences, if any. The other key differentiator in making the decision of choosing a brand is the warranty period, Asustor offers 3 years whereas majority of the consumer series in QNAP or Synology are just having 2 years warranty. The NAS must support : - support RAID 1 - usable hard disk space 2 to 3 TB - clients support on IOS and Anroid - support torrent download - support VPN function There are NAS brands amd models in the market. How to select? Any experience sharing and recommendation is welcome. Thanks. |
