You guys are aware that you can practice you 6ch flying skill on a computer. Hook you controller up and you could buy a copy of a RC heli simulator (or download an ahem copy). Its very realistic where you could set every variable there is so that you could be practicing to as close as possible to the real thing, even wind speed. At least you get a feel of flying the real thing and crashes are free.

QUOTE(zeroglyph @ Nov 1 2014, 11:32 AM) yes i do. been running simulators all the time. problem is, it's never the same experience. in the sim, you never have to worry about how bad you crash. this doesn't translate that well in real flight. I call the the video game syndrome. But still better than going straight to the real thing.i can invert hover a 450 CP nose-in in the sim, but i'm pretty sure i'm not gonna be able to do it in real life. simply because scared of crashing kills the confidence. |

QUOTE(SupermotoXL @ Jul 11 2015, 09:17 AM) Packaging looks super cheap. I bet in GongChow its very cheap only. Well careful with it. You guys into this and electronic gadgets should try going for a weekend shopping trip to china. One trip go get all you gear I think you will save a lot and also get to see all the models and options and more. China is relative safer than before. Prices are most likely like what you pay in RM but in RMB, I am trying to say same digits but different currency. For reference My last trip I bought a SJCAM clone for just RMB220 inclusive the protective case. Go google around and see if it a nice price or not. You must haggle for everything ya. Sorry if my example not related ya. |
