anyone here kind enough to help out with my project? i'm a newb starting off with this uni project of building a quadcopter (gps flying vehicle) that can fly autonomously. I need help for suggestions, parts, price, etc I have bought some of my equipment which i'm not certain of its capability. APM 2.6 flight controller 30A ESC 920kv motors 9" propellers 3300mAH 4s battery price: RM1500
I still need a remote control and frame. remote atleast 6-9channel cheap ones i saw a flysky RM400 is it ok? and frame cost rm150 for 450mm (looking for weird frames as mentioned its for uni project which i dont want my lecturer to think that i bought a ready made quadcopter such as the dji F450) Any suggestions?

QUOTE(sya_cd @ Jul 19 2014, 03:23 PM) flysky with 8ch receiver like rm250 only. Btw, you ever fly a quad? Kinda risky money wise to do such a project if got no experience before. and rm1500 for all that parts you listed seem super expensive too no i have not. its actually like a final year project which i'm trying to find shortcut thats y i'm kinda looking for help

QUOTE(sya_cd @ Jul 22 2014, 09:41 PM) which devo? devo7/devo 10 i heard is pretty good and easy to configure, problem is need import online otherwise buy here so expensive any special reason you want get 9xr? just get flysky th9x enuf already. rm279 from rcsmart. complete with receiver and rf module http://www.rcsmart.com.my/webshaper/store/...roductItem=4987my quad just arrived today wow, that quadcopter of yrs looks really well built..good for you..hahaha no special reason for turnigy 9x, just worried for future problems if i get others since turnigy 9x is well recommended by so many people. someone told me that devo transmitters are not good so i'm just taking that advise. devo f7 is available at timesquare 6th floor (rm750 without the camera) devo 7 and 10 also available. i'm considering devo F7 since the FPV is built in at the remote but i dont want to regret. so hard to decide
