bro qiw, what camera you attached on your heli ? very clear, want to get 1 too

for people that just join this hobby

you might google mjx f45 for 4 channel rc heli
price good, quality good, easy to fly

plus can get camera at about rm100 for this one c4002(can capture picture and video by the small red button on top of the controller)

Any idea where i can get this bugger around shah alam / petaling jaya area?
*
the image, this is not v929's battery
the connector doesnt looks like that^^

Added on December 19, 2012, 3:30 amv929 is very good quadcopter
i myself bought 2, and all friends around me also bought this

but i experienced a lot that cannot balance after few crash, not because unbalance prop, but due to the board problem(the most expensive part to change)

but all in all, it is a good helicopter if you are good luck(crash for many times and still flying )

assuming u are starting from nothing and with no rc experience
u will have to consider a radio (starts from rm200+) .. charger (rm100+) .. batteries (rm100+) .. and crash repair costs
and then the cost of aircraft ...

u can get a quadcopter for around rm300+ if u buy the stuff and build it yourself

or u can choose to get the 929 quadcopter which is perfectly good for learning ... really cheap too
*
bro QiW, can you guide me to build a quadcopter on my own please
want to know what parts that i need, and where can i get them cheap.

want to lift a camera(maybe)

and what is the best 4 channel helicopter?
i have v911, and that is too slow for me, anything that is faster than that?

thank you^^

It can be used as it is sold as replacement batt @ drc toys . But now i am using the turningy ones here (in the plastic)
user posted image For longer air time.

Yeah i suffer the same board problem. Changed it to a new board for 45 bucks and it is flying rock solid. Thinking of getting another setup so that i can make it into this

*
great battery you got there

i saw that video
havent try yet, but i think , it is not hard

i have tried to put v911 on top , quite fun ^^

well...that's the challenge, is it not? hovering is actually quite hard for beginners until you get the hang of it, but it's the staple maneuver.

FPV actually requires more budget and if you can't even hover in tail-in without it, then i don't see how it can help.

get a good model with a lot of spareparts
like v911,mjxf45

get more batteries

get a bigger indoor field like badmintion court

for v911, just prepare extra mainblade, and tail motor(other parts can hardly broke, even break, still can fly)

just play it anyhow you like, cut the throttle before you crash, it will survive almost any crash

after you get used to the stick , then you can start to learn hovering
