Hey, i'm actually interested to assembly one quadcopter myself.

Where do you get started?

1st u will need a remote control
2nd a kit or u can build one yrself
3rd electronics to suit the frame u built
4th batteries to suit your copter
Charger to charge yr batts too..

The ez way is to just buy a ready to fly thing with all those already.. No need to build etc.. Much cheaper too
Buy if coz do not compare the flight quality etc etc la

I got a friend travelling to China soon so I'll ask him help me to get FrSky Taranis x9D Plus from Taobao (RM710) without battery. Shipment 24hrs to hotel.

Nice ... im guessing you got a lot of flying hours with those quads. I just can't wait till the parts arrive and assemble them myself. Soldering skills a bit rusted.

Do you use a PDB circuit board for your ESC's and FPV?

What i am planning to do for Power distribution is to use a piece of copper, split it to +/-. That's where all the power goes

Is the wiring diagram setup ok? I've not add the FPV yet as i'm still figuring out the connections..any comments would be much appreciated.

For the fc naze32 it will be powered up by the ESC BEC (linear) 5v. Picture below is the ESC BEC linear that i had bought from HobbyKing.

The D4R-II receiver will be getting the 5v supply from fc naze32 when i will solder the PPM together.

ok, thanks for the heads up...will test the ESC's before real flight. throttle test to 100%?
