Hmm.... rm700 bucks.... where to find? dunia rc or quadcopter malaysia?
hmmm interested..... i m currently in penang though... they do COD?
A guy named 'Low Hong' from Melaka seems to have alot of budget quad parts for sale, he even offers package deals
Can check out his store page here
https://www.facebook.com/groups/1653233401557900/Disclaimer though, I had not dealt with him before and am recommending solely from looking at his adverts on DRC and various other RC/quad groups. He seems to be pretty reputable and experienced for quads and airplanes. Don't look like he have heli stuff though.

A ground station a secondary FPV monitor, a DVR and sometimes a telemetry module attached on tripod to record the plane movement, telemetric information, tracking and also most importantly as plane 'BLACK BOX' should anything happen to the plane. I only use standard 5.8ghz vtx, video goggle with head tracking system, standard FCC compliant radio control transmitter. What make it a successful long range flight was a home made modified video/radio antenna transmission which i built my self thanks to the internet.
Yes it has GPS telemetry data on my OSD, fly beyond light of sight from cockpit view. As you can see inside this video below somewhere in the middle of the video clip there's an inset of HUD(OSD = pilot view) layout that shows instrumental flight data, altitude, orientation and other stuff which allow me to fly without looking outside scenery if i do stuck inside the clouds or flying in the dark just like real pilot.
Video:Sounds cool! So you actually record the actual video being transmitted by the VTX on your setup on top of the seperate video recorder you placed inside the plane eh. What is required to consider it as a 'ground station'? Is your antenna actually still on the default positions or is it an external antenna module of some sorts? I see you're somewhat avoiding the question of what TX you're using, but looking at your site I'm guessing some Turnigy model?

hmmm.... any recommendation on beginner quad flight controllers?
I might be getting a
Flysky i6
450mm quad ---> usual... 4 esc, 4 motor, 4 props
4500mah lipo for quad
Lipo charger
How about qq super thunder?
Honestly I have no experience on quads so can't really recommend but I see CC3S and QQ being pretty popular.

Added 3 module with multi module & did the antenna mod for someone else.
Looks nice! So, now what to do to make use of the CC2500 module?

Anyway, I just got hold of a WK-CTL01-D Telemetry module for my V450D03, now I can monitor the voltage and important temps directly on my tx and quickly land before my battery explodes! Woohooo!!

After a quick flight today the connection seems to be pretty intermittent and unstable, hit up the Deviation forum and they asked me to install the latest nightly. Apparently the 'Nightly' under downloads section isn't exactly the latest nightly. I thought my 26-7-2015 firmware was the latest nightly already but the real Nightlys are under 'Test Builds' and can be reached
here. Did a quick bench test earlier and all seems good!
Also had a near-major crash earlier today when a component of the swashplate, being the anti-rotation pin and pitch control ball link unscrewed itself, mid-flip! Managed to hit throttle hold in time and somehow got the heli back upright and landed pretty damn hard, but on it's skids! Zero damages from that 'crash'. Need to inspect my rotating components more frequent and also add in some loctite. I think my heli did 3-4 hours of flight time without inspection in this area which is why it happened.
