QUOTE(segamatboy @ Oct 1 2012, 10:54 PM) Those anti Inggerris chauvinists kelapa pusing. QUOTE(budakgila @ Oct 2 2012, 08:38 AM) Don't worry guys, they here not to tackle any of our sumandak. They're just visiting as a friend to our Malaysian military & government. Beside if they have liberty on shore they wear civilian clothes they usually wore back in America. They also act like tourist when visiting. They go shopping & wandering in our city just like tourist do. You'll never notice if they're tourist except they much more aggresive. Many of them are young men women at early 20's. But older sailors are married men & women who loyal to their spouse. Agree..They were doing mostly sight-seeing and food hunting i guess..oh and stocks supplies.. That aircraft carrier is on a visit to far east. Malaysia don't need an aircraft carrier like US do because US had their business interest all over the world. In order to protect their business around the world an aircraft carrier would give enough protection. A jet air craft or helicopter usually had range over 1,000 miles. This is not enough if it is launch from USA. If this air craft is based on a floating airport then it can be launch any where part of the world. Just sent an aircraft carrier which carry aircraft at the shore of hostile country for showing of power. An aircraft carrier like that sure can destroy enemy airforce within week. An aircraft carrier carry a sum of aircraft which is equivalent to total airforce of one third world country. Don't worry, when it harbored in KK it did not show it's power by permitting it's aircraft to fly. Malaysia is not allied to USA. But Malaysian & US military are friend. Malaysian buy miltary equipment from US. Not just from US, Malaysia buy aircraft from Russia. That mean Malaysian are not pro US or pro Russia. Malaysian Scorpene is based in sepanggar to guard the security of south china sea which have a Malaysian interest of Spratly island. This post has been edited by Trishharas: Oct 2 2012, 10:17 AM |
