Malaysian version of Dokdo are suppose to be cheaper because the flight deck will not be covered with heat resistant materials necessery to operate VTOL jets. The hot exhaust form the AV-8 or F-35 would've melt the flight deck if it ever tried to land on it. It'll only operate helicopters.

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Oct 1 2012, 12:23 PM) Patrolling of course. The mission order is sent directly from Command HQ to the safe in captain's stateroom onboard the sub. The safe has three layer locking mechanism. The first mechanism unlock when the sailing watch is set. The second mechanism unlock after the sub went submerge. The third mechanism is unlock by captain and the EO who both entered their combination key. That mean's the submariners only know what their mission are after they already underwater and underway. |
