i saw many forumers mod lcd to their pc.. but never seen (VFD) mod be4..
i feel VFD is very cool gadget... very simillar with audio visiual products..

1)anyone has idea how it will work on our pc?
2)and anywhere selling VFD module?... e.g. jalan pasar..

LIS2 is a reasonably priced VFD. Looks really awesome too. I might wanna get 1 soon as well. Check out the LIS2 in the attachment. It's looooooooooooovely.

what's the difference beween vfd and lcd?

LCD the character is black or silver....using LED....
VFD the chracter itself got LED.....

I'm using Vlsys's LIS 2 blue eye since 2004. They remove the support for motherboard monitor's temperature reading recently and replace it with smartfan instead.

Please do not mislead others. It is not RM100.

im negotiating a 40X2 vfd display module which from ebay global... if failed this one.. i think just get from uglyvamp...

uglyvamp have something new, i mean new model with remote control, so i don't think u have to mod it, M.PLAY 202 Plus - check this up

this type of thing RM100 is consider reasonably cheap d lor... see bloody CM selling their cooldrive 3 how much last time, so plain only the Cooldrive 3 compared to VFD...
