Just bought -- Ninetology Stealth, Android ICS 4.03, comes with case, strap, screen protector, DIGI pack.

5 in screen a bit big for me but feels solid, great value only RM600+ .

Ninetology Stealth made by ZTE, the same brand as DiGi chose for their tomorrow network because it's the cheapest.

Also check that the two SIM slots are both 3G active. In some phones one must be 2G.

Stealth is Android ICS 4.03. Many others still sold with 2.nn

I am also looking for a dual sim phone budget but I need android

Currently looking at Tipo but would like to expand my options a little. ANyone cares to share and contribute a list of Android Dual Sim phones and its price (roughly)

1. Sony Xperia Tipo Dual (RM 5xx)
2. HTC Desire V (RRP RM 1099)
3. Sharp sh530u (RM9xx)
4. Galaxy Y Duos (RM???)

hello guys.

a bit of noob questions here on dual sim phone, if u dont mind to help.

sim 1:
telco A, for call + sms

sim 2:
telco B, purely for internet

the scenario:
the whatsapp account is created under the number of sim 1.
sim 2 is able to on 3G network while sim 1 is on standby mode (both can actually standby same time).

question:
is it able to use whatsapp under this scenario?

thanks a lot!

most buget dual sim phone, sim 2 is 2G only. So in your case, internet goes to SIM 1 (2G/3G), call and sms using sim 2(2G only)

Checkout Acer Liquid Z3S, budget Android with dual sim.

https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3131254/+0#entry66441124

Price: RM299

Other features...
5 megs back camera
GPS

What more do you need for that low price?

BTW if we use WhatsApp for dual sim then we can have 2 accounts running right?

nope, WhatsApp will only work with one line

however, if you use Telegram, you could sign in to either line though still can only use one at a time

For the avoidance of doubt, Telegram is a separate messenger, unrelated to WhatsApp.

Lenovo Vibe Z. Should i get it or not?

Hi, well it's really a good phone with nice specs..
A great bonus is it's dual sim..
I can't really say much about it's current Ui, but it has the same feel with Alcatel's Ui.. (iphone kind of experience)
And it has perks that other phone don't have like the dialpad can go to the left or right more to make it easy for one hand use to name one of it's perks.. wink.gif
It's a phone worth giving a chance..
But if you are unsure, then go for xiaomi mi3.. Almost the same price range (16g-depend on seller), just that the wait time to arrive is still too long for my personal preference..

Yes, moto G is a dual sim phone that comes either a 8g or 16g internal memory(emmc)..
Moto X is a single sim but they aren't selling it here..
But there are available sellers of Moto X if you can find.. wink.gif

hehe do share your experience after trying it out ya  drool.gif  drool.gif would consider getting one too.. btw, how many days to reach you?

I received it on the 26th. I ordered it on the 21st. Though it actually reached me on the 25th but the deliveryman couldn't enter my building that day so they reschedule the delivery.

I hope I'll find time to post some pics, but not for now. First impressions are that it is very smooth, no lags yet, though people say there will be problems due to the 4gb internal memory. I haven't downloaded much stuff yet, except for the essential browser and messaging apps.

I'm not much of a camera guy, but my friends tested it out and it looks very good. He took an extreme close up shot and the details were very clear, he said that is one of the ways to see how good a camera is. Again, I will try post that pic when I'm more free.

internet browsing speed and connecting to wireless is much better than my previous Lenovo phone, but it is a little bit heavier than I expected.

Anyway, for a SGD169 price, it is very worth it and probably able to compete with some <rm1k phones.
