QUOTE(yh28 @ Oct 13 2012, 03:39 PM) I would like to know the steps to unroot the device, Just asking, why choose this way? why dont you download malaysian ICS firmware files and flash it through odin like austria ver.? Isnt it faster and less hassle that way.. Even reverting to 3.2 also need odin what previously flashed to Austria version of ICS and rooted following a guide posted in V2, now thinking of reverting back to ori 3.2 and update to Malaysia version of ICS through kies. KIES is EVIL you know (and we all knew that) Anyway: 1. I dont know about unrooting within devices, but... 2. ...once you flashed ORI 3.2/4.0 rom by odin, root access should be wiped along. 3. If you chose 3.2, then after connect to kies.. pray and wish good luck updating ICS with it |

QUOTE(writeprotect @ Oct 20 2012, 09:32 PM) hi all, 1. spec-wise: P6200 > P3100 (superior in proc speed, frontcam mpx, and got led flash) now im actually still surveying between this tab 7 plus and tab 2(7) for my fren. and my question is: 1. which one did u guys think better to get? because my fren saw digi offer as low as rm499 for tab 2(7) and rm599 for 7 plus.. 2. is it both still will get Jelly bean? or ICS? 3. why in DIGI website said for tab 2 (7) no battery include?? tq 2. both now ICS ready. P6200 got rumor with the update, while P3100 not sure 3. mistype maybe, both got no extra battery, since both use non-removable one.. if thats what they mean.. |

QUOTE(mnsnazri @ Oct 28 2012, 11:38 PM) sorry bro...just sharing info...tab 2 p3100 already using ICS 4.0.4...right now it got 4.1.1 OTA updated for jelly bean Of course. what I mean by 'both' that is p3100's ICS READY out of box, while p6200 ICS ready by OTA. in the end both got what anyway its good to hear p3100 also got JB.. but all the more reason to choose P6200 over P3100 |

QUOTE(hazril @ Oct 30 2012, 02:08 PM) with ics my tab havent been restarted for the past 2 weeks...compare with hc,need to reboot once a week... Last time I sceenshot my tab uptime duration showing over 900++ hours running. Then I totally forgot about that until recent factory reset which the pics gone with it, too bad i cant post it here.anyway my point is my tab actually been awake for more than months without random reboot, which is amazing considering its my main phone/tablet and i fully utilised its functions in everyday usage QUOTE(kayFX @ Oct 30 2012, 03:47 PM) from Honeycomb to ICS is a big upgrade.. ICS to JB is a refinement.. at first i was a bit skeptical about project butter.. since im using s3 and got the update yesterday, project butter is really buttery smooth.. but at the expense of battery usage.. first i tot ICS is enuf but why not JB if there is an option to upgrade.. IMO 7+ still capable handling JB since it just a refinement of ICS.. Yes agreed. I also would be happy to accept it if given the choice to update... only once it made available. Thing is, lets just not make it as a big necessity or an excuse to condemn or even blaming the concerned party if it happen otherwise.Else, I too see people are simply want it... QUOTE(jack2 @ Nov 8 2012, 01:41 PM) Thanks. There is one way to keep gamedata saves for games and other app.Another question, I am thinking to do the factory reset but for certain games, I need to backup or move to external SD, then recover the game with the latest levels played till. Anyway to do that? Using titanium backup, set a backup folder to your external card, do the backup for each you want or use batch mode to simply backup everything. Then you can do a reset with total wipe to your internal memory. but make sure you back up also for other data like photo, videos, etc that important in there. Once finished, reinstall titanium backup and restore the app+data in the list. P/S: Titanium backup is root required. |

QUOTE(danielcalvin @ Nov 28 2012, 04:13 PM) I plan to buy a tab on December. I found out that Tab Plus have flash, while Tab 2 doesn't have flash. I think not many shop selling Tab Plus. They more selling Tab 2. P6200 abit superior that P3100. Still can found SME set around but you need to look harder coz shops will always encourage you to buy newer P3100 aka Tab 2. Newer model ma..can profit more. Actually its nice to have Tab 2 around coz Tab Plus got raised its value abit.. last time sold mine at price not too far from original price I bought while I already used so many months ..so lucky |
