Hey apple guy out there, need some help here. My sister just dropped my Ipad 2 (Not the retina display) and the now the screen is crack. I want to know is there anyway Machines can get the glass replace?

machines will only replace a new ones. of course customer will borne the cost. 3rd party replacement is probably possible but will deem void warranty.

Repair fees usually is 60-80% of your ipad price =x

Better buy new one and sell cracked iPad as spare part..

You can get someone to have an assessment. Determine whether the screen cracked or just the glass panel cracked. My friend cracked her New iPad screen and replaced the glass only for RM300. Of course void the warranty but if Apple charge you so much, might as well just void it.

I have ashatter crack on the edge and a hairline crack across the screen.

But overall functionality is not affected and all seems working normal
