Just finished downloaded iOS6 Firmware, but should I really upgrade it? is iOS6 really good?

things that I will miss in iOS5

- Full screen safari
- slide left right to move pointer in keyboard
- RetinaPad!
- AnyAttach
- Rollbarrel

features in iOS6 that i am anticipating

- flyover
- fb integration
- no siri coz ipad2
- and... nth much else i guess, pls tell me if there's more!

If u dont need jailbreak then u can upgrade

Flyover is not supported in Malaysia yet ?
You will be very disappointed with the new maps if u do use them a lot, thats my opinion, No offence

If u r iPad 2 owner, i suggest u to wait first before updating. I updated my iPad because of SIRI, FB Integration as well as to try something new.

I suggest don't update. I updated cause I want to play with Siri.
Now these two days I got problem send iMessage
iPhone ok can send - using ios 5.1.1

wanna try out the FB integration so much! i guess I have to wait, not worth it to sacrifice my tweaks

I'M USING ios 5.1.1 AND IT'S A GOOD IOS SO FAR...IF U HAVE JAILBREAK UR IOS 5.1.1, THEN UPGRADING TO IOS 6 U NEED TO WAIT FOR IT TO BE JAILBREAK...BUT IF U CONFORTABLE WITH NOT JAILBREAKING IT, THEN IT'S OK TO UPGRADE

nothing much new in ios 6 for ipad 2....i oso din update yet....

i assume that your caps lock is broken. otherwise, i could not find any reason for you to shout the whole sentence.

I upgraded for my 2012 iPad

Found nothing really essential except the new Chinese Dictation.

And it use more RAM than iOS5, now in Chrome I hardly got 2 tabs running togeter without reloading

And I miss a lot of JB tweaks, retinapad, full force, nitro, no password prompt and kill all apps etcc

I have no idea why people consider flyover as an essential feature. Honestly, how many times are you going to use it?

Seems like you have more to lose and almost nothing to gain by upgrading. I'm holding back for Google Maps and jailbreak, Siri is not very practical in my case and I don't post much on FB.

I agree with you bro, IOS6 is indeed consumed more RAM than IOS5. I wonder is it purposely designed like that or it might be some kind of bug?

Overall Experience, Apple Maps is Disappointing, SIRI is nice, RAM Usage is higher, Battery life seems same, FB Integration is great, Still a lot of bugs such as Wifi bug, cant auto lock bug etc ...

FB integration is it a plugins somehow like HTC sense?

no more youtube apps are killing in ios6!

Yup, no more youtube built in app in ios6 makes me crazy. Have to open Safari to watch.. dont like...

My advise, stay with ios 5.1.1 if you are jb...as me

For those with IOS 5.1.1 , DON'T UPGRADE IOS6 for this moment. If you does, YOU CANT GET BACK TO IOS 5.1.1 AGAIN.

If we update from ios 5.1.1 to 6, all the jailbreak will be gone, does that means our ipad will be totally clean without trace of jailbreaking ever happen?

ahhhhhhh WiFi keep diconnecting using ios 6.. dont hav any problem with other gadget

Try "reset your network setting" on your iPad and reboot, it works for some forumer in here.

my suggestion would be no until there's jailbreak for ios6 made available to the eu

for IOS6 wifi problem, we need to wait apple next patch to fix it,
reset networking will only work for a while, after sometime, the problem will come back again

stick with iso 5.1 better
