now THAT is my dream birthday present!
i've been using graphire 2 for about 4 years now. bought it in imbi plaza. the retail price at the time was rm399, but somehow i managed to get a bargain of rm250! bought the thing right there.
i've tried other tablets. most are not as good as wacom, in terms of pressure sensitivity, tilt, function, speed, resolution and ease of use.

u know what, i've found a reason why i need a bigger tablet. the bigger tablet is more accurate when drawing. for example, try drawing a circle on the smaller graphire2, and compare with the bigger ones. the smaller size means even the slightest jolt on ur stroke will be translated exponentially on screen. means u have to be really, really steady using smaller tablets. to add to that, bigger tablets allow u to use bigger, wider strokes (arm strokes rather than just wrist strokes). now i'm just waiting for the price to get a wee bit more affordable

i think what u need is to switch between mouse mode and tablet mode. just go to ur tablet settings control panel, there should be a mode selection under "mapping".
