If you want stability, play with TEMP TX LIN, increase it a bit but not too much brows.gif

Blackie, where to find this TEMP TX LIN? Maybe you can give the number on the list of it on RF NV Item Manager? Can't find it anywhere..

Gonna play with it today, or maybe you got another settings too for us to play play on this evening? biggrin.gif

Thanks.

Yes and no, do some reading about it bro, there's bunch of information here about it.

If you talking about stability and consistency of the speed, I'd say yes.

then best is stay with V1,. since open wrt so powerful in V1,.. love my V1 very much now  rclxm9.gif

Agreed. nod.gif

But the heat that V2 produce is surprisingly low, I dont have V1 and I don't know how bad is the heat but I can say I don't need a fan for my V2, yet. thumbup.gif

Now I'm only thinking on how to increase the Signal Strength, currently mine is 61%.

I think I need atleast 90%, any idea sifu?

Agreed bro, if I got issue with my modem after tweaking also I'll never blame you.
Tweaking -/+ = Overclocking, still have the percentages to break your modem (thank god nothing happens yet biggrin.gif).
So do it in our own risk lah kan? smile.gif

2 laptops with same error.

Try another PC or laptop, if still the same maybe there's a problem with your modem like Sifu Chuah said.

if u wanna try too, change this value NV_WCDMA_VGA_GAIN_OFFSET_1
my default value is -78

tested device e367
slowly change the value till u find optimum value, and dont go overboard as we dont know what will happen if value is overlimit..
different device will have differ value..
and 1 more thing, signal is not everything, but position does matter  nod.gif  nod.gif
report your finding here  icon_rolleyes.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif

I'm gonna kill my E372 anytime with -444 value. laugh.gif

For the meantime, I don't need LTE because the speed is like graveyard shift and web surfing is F awesome. rclxms.gif

Huawei E220,

Default value = -4

RSSI -97dBm , SNR -93,-10 ,

After Tweak to -200

RSSI -77dBm , SNR -78,-11 ,

speed no much changed still 1.xxMbps

but latency improved much.

for a modem which is so "old" its good to have such good lataency

Experimenting on your old modem? tongue.gif
