by my opinion, modem is more dedicated to the internet network, so it might work better than a phone, which has a mixture of a lot of stuff, phone currently can only work up till 7.2mbps, but on a modem, you can find modems that run up till 42mbps dual channel

but on real performances wise there is no guarantee it will be as good as E372/ZTE MF680 until real test 

yea speed will be high, this is no doubt for sure,

just wondering after a while using, will the consistency be there or not,.
