has anyone tried this using the AL621 modem? can't seem to get it to work...

if the QPST able to detect your modem port, then should be ok,

if cannot detect, meaning not support

the port is there but is shows "No Phone"...

u can try it out yourself,

some modem able to handle 33tx while some other only can handle up to 27tx,

so experiment is need, if turns out not very good, u can tweak back to original value 23tx or 26/27 tx

change my e367 to 33tx
drastically increase download speed from 1mbps to almost 4mbps!



btw, ping still poor, no performance at all...
maybe because my SNR >-80

im gonna using plug in into my router for a period of time
will my modem setting will make it overheat? or worse, BURNT?!

tried out 33tx, upload speed din increase at all. just found out download speed slightly faster little.

what i know 33tx, ping dramatically decrease but almost
reach around 44ms to 62ms

if you guys worry, then best is tweak it back original value 23tx, and get whatever performances that come with 23tx

for myself, i properly try 33tx as long the speed is getting better

in simple word, sometimes it give a worth to try something when u expected turn to either Good or Bad.
So far, SuperCharge this thread, really give best result would let us to turn speed into God Speed.

if heat, need more cooling. tat why this weekend going buy fan.

remember dont buy USB fan, buy something like chasis fan/server fan with AC power plug direct type, it will give you high cfm and wind blow,
