i'm using public IP and my QoS is 16000 downlink.  I strongly believe it depends on which area you're in. brows.gif

it's not new, i've been using public IP with that QoS for a long time already. I think I've mentioned in the forum before as well. Anyway, in my area, I prefer to use public IPs over normal IPs cause they are much stable and consistent.

i'm using unetp on legacy. there is another APN meant for Maxis BB which ywkwy mentioned earlier. But i haven't tried that with my legacy SIM.

and like Chuah said, you'll need to request CS to activate it before you can start using it.

kind of a far reach to get that speed on that modem. tongue.gif it should be no issue for DC HSPA+ though. it will depend on the Maxis network in the area that you'll be using it.

E372 once upgraded to latest FW and set TX=27 cannot connect via HW5503G router

E367 once upgraded to latest FW and set TX=27 connect very fast on HW5503G router, even with an extension usb cable 3 meters long.

HW550 is Aztech brand, i guess not many pipu use this router.......default FW not OpenWRT-ed yet

maxisbb / unet nod.gif

I use maxisbb 99% of the time, unet can't get me to good IP range

Anyway, it is area dependent
