last time aaaa i was a RMA Debug Tech in melaka plant. they paid me 1k basic a month as i was fresh grad. For fresh IR grad it could be 1.5k ~ 2k basic a month.

dude.. after 4 months, i resigned. reasons?
1. got better offer from infineon
2. working environment not so good. the air not so clean.

good luck for u

You are lucky, because i am here smile.gif Why? Because i been to their interview twice for two different position (Product Engineer and System Design Engineer) tongue.gif And one of the time i got hired, but i rejected them. Why? Because i got better offer else where tongue.gif enough of me, now here is what i know and hope they help you:

- They will have an IQ test, which is pretty simple to me.

- Depending on the position you apply for, there will be another related technical test question. Since they are manufacturing communication devices (Sonyericsson) in the plant, the questions are mostly telecommunication related, for example, what is GSM? what is 3G? what is uplink and downlink? what is GPRS? how it works, etc. Beware that they also have electronics question, for example, what is lowpass filter? highpass filter? What is the function of transistor? design simple transistor circuits, etc...and if the position you apply for is programming related then they will have questions to ask you to write programs (for my case it is in C++).

- Then there will be the interview after you finished your test. Mostly interview conducted by 2 person. One is from the technical field, and the other is from HR. Beware that they will ask you some technical question too during the interview. Since they are production factory, what they seek for is your commitment to your job and show that you are capable of doing so.

That's all i know, and been through, Good Luck! thumbup.gif

Fresh grad i think 2.5k. If you have 1st class, you probably get 2.7k.

No longer, but one of my last job's roles is to support and monitor production line during NPI, and I understand the engineers' life working in manufacturing.
