done assembled inner frame for MG Zaku 2.0
man, the leg articulation  lust.gif
way better than RG Zaku
*
leaving it displayed as inner frame only is definitely the sexier option. brows.gif

hmm, u're right. it's 1 MG per month so far. so after Nu Ver Ka, it'll be something in January, then Feb is Sinanju Stein, etc.

ya, will try to paint it with gold gundam marker or try to find tamiya gold marker. not sure the result ok or not :T
*
i've tried using markers(several brands) and the result doesn't last. after a few days, the gold becomes brown. experimenting with water-based sparkling gold paint. tested it on some leftover plastics and it does stay "shiny" for weeks.

ic ic, mmm, where to get those water-based sparkling gold paint?

or maybe, i should just give up on red sinanju and go for white sinanju. hahaha.
*
you can get it at ace hardware. less than RM10. but need a small brush to apply. i don't remember the brand at the moment, but it's a thick mix, doesn't drip easily. so it's quite easy to use.

dont understand why you want to paint Sinanju Sleeve's emblem with gold..
in anime, the color should be yellow if i remember correctly

LOL... If you don't want to spend big bucks on a modelling cutter then don't get started and use what you can get from hardware shop or even a nail clipper would do wink.gif

Once you get started using the modelling cutter, there's no turning back as it is addictive tongue.gif

yes, i use nail clipper and never looked back.

i agree which is why im looking for hobby cutters - i find that they are sharper and also smaller
*
nail clipper cuts closer than any cutter. my combo, hardware store's multi purpose cutter (which i use to cut wires and other stuff too) and nail clipper. hobby grade cutters are over rated and not to mention over priced. plus, you can't use it for anything else. dry.gif . at least i can still cut my nails and some aluminum/zinc pieces with a budget of RM15. thumbup.gif

any other alternative for flat top coat other than using mr hobby or tamiya?  icon_question.gif
*
i'm using krylon matte finish for all my gundams(and other stuff too). seems a lot of guys here use that too. so yeah, it's the better choice as it's cheaper than tamiya or other so called "hobby" grade coating. but kinda hard to find stock. i've never used tamiya or the others, it's been all krylon all the way thumbup.gif . another one i haven't tested is polyurethane satin finish, this works for wood, but not sure on plastic.
