QUOTE(TheAdmiral @ Oct 1 2012, 09:58 AM) Well u nid to 1st kno that top coat is virtually just a clear layer of paint. Future floor is actually a coat to make ur marble floor shiny and since its an acrylic base u can use it for model kit. Effectively making future floor == top coat gloss Next u nid to know that tamiya base flat is not for painting on the surface directly. It has to mix with paints to turn it into matte finish. Thus in order to make a top coat matte, all we nid is the base flat + a clear paint (which is what future floor is for). Future floor no longer calls by that name, i dun rember it from the top of my head but u can google it. It can be found in Ace Hardware. a quick google search turned up, Pledge? i think i've seen this around before.. thanks for the thorough explaination This post has been edited by HxiiiK: Oct 1 2012, 10:01 AM

I just started building my HGUC Kshatriya for a group build and I must say, I now understand why the hefty price tag the amount of plastic, the number of parts, the colour separation, even something close to inner frame except the articulation and the scale, it's already close to being a MG, or even better than most old MG kits even if Bandai never plan to make a MG Kshatriya, I'm quite happy already

QUOTE(Exiled_Gundam @ Oct 1 2012, 04:00 PM) Haha from what I see, price of gunpla mostly is proportionate to the amount of plastic needed to manufacture it Normally yes, as of late no. older MG usually high price == lots of plastic (Ex-S for example) Lately high price is related to xtras like effect parts or blink-blink or Bandai suka-suka raise the price. The-O for instance which is about the size of Ex-S, nothing fancy, no blink-blink, no special parts, infact not enuf beam saber effect parts n still its much much more expensive then Ex-S.
