The mecha designer is Kanetake Ebikawa, he's the main designer for 00 but for age he's only 1 of several. Age 2 is definitely his work seeing how similar it is design wise to 00 stuffs. Ebikawa is also the main designer for Vandread and Full Metal Panic, looking at those design i think he is responsible for all/most of vagan stuff as well.

i dunno bout metal built since it's metal

I order once for my White Glint movie edition it cost like RM142 just for the EMS shipping but the box weight was like 1750g so not sure standard gundam box shipping cost. I find that HLJ have cheaper shipping cost tho. So arguably it the same price as most hobby shop sell here.
