from my point of view, MF is useless.

last time, i used to think that since im doing paragon levels and it'll not make much difference of the XP i gain with the 25% bonus during the plvl20+ stages, might as well equip MF to farm legendaries on the way to plvl50 or so. But what i found out is, even tho i have near 300% MF, i usually do not get any legend drops for consecutive days till up to a week. and i do farm alot... i do full A3 runs and kill almost every mob.

then my thinking start changing. I realise that no matter how much mf u have, the drop rates still depends on luck. becos the bonus does not affect ur chance in a huge way. if it doesnt drops, it just doesnt drops. therefore, i changed the gem back to ruby becos at least i know im getting the bonus XP for sure. It'll still be better if u swap with a GF gem, cos, it's really noticable. Well, guess what? i get more frequent legend drops with just 200mf. so, fuk mf. unless they increase the drop rate until where the %mf really has a noticable difference between 0%-whatever max % achievable, u are really wasting a socket in the helm and other affixes on ur gears.

i would prefer if they implement something like the rule where elites/bosses are confirmed to drop at least 1 rare with 5nv. make it so that with 5nv, the final act boss has a definite higher chance to drop a legend (if normal mobs are 0.01%, make it 0.1% for bosses, multiplied by ur mf% of course). something like how the keywardens/uber bosses are guaranteed to drop keys/organs in MP10 with 5nv. at least players will have something to look forward to in boss fights and will not skip them during farm runs.
