QUOTE(zaidi @ Mar 3 2014, 11:22 AM)
you just missed a game where juve did not dominate, yet able to win thanks to buffon and the defenders. bonucci saved on the line once, buffon had to parried several shots, midfielders were pressed hard and defenders had to rely on long balls.

pogba was like schooled by de jong, too bad, if vidal was there maybe different story. montilivo got better in marshalling pirlo and marchisio, luckily he was subs for ineffective honda, otherwise milan migth have a goal or two with consistent attack on juve's goal.
*
yeap. Juve just did enough and its not easy to get a pts against the 'rejuvenated' Milan under Seedorf.

and not to mention Juve have less rest and travel back & forth from Turin-Trabzon-Milan while AC Milan
having a whole week to prepare for Juve. But right now i take "substance' over "style" any day of the week

Juve last night was a true definition of substance over style..eventhough Tevez & Llorente goal(the buildup)
suggest otherwise laugh.gif

btw its the Euro 2012 rematch tonight against the reigning World Champion Spain at Vicente Calderon

both Balotelli(injury) and De Rossi(disciplinary) would missed the trip..while either Destro or Immobile would start on Balo spot

3pts in the bag..but that was a painful 2nd half to watch...juve just sitting back and riding on their luck atleast 1 time...

the only good thing in Europa last-16 round is that Juve doesn't need to travel far lets say to either Ukraine,Russia etc..

but the bad thing is that one Serie A team would surely going out..just when we thought Serie A would do something in Europa League this season with 4 teams in it b4 this round(thx so much Lazio)

20-man team to face Viola tonight for Europa League round of 16 1st leg

a full strength lineup? Of we'll get to see the 2nd lineup who ran riot Trabzonspor a few weeks ago?

1 Buffon
3 Chiellini
4 Caceres
5 Ogbonna
6 Pogba
8 Marchisio
12 Giovinco
13 Peluso
14 Llorente
15 Barzagli
18 Osvaldo
19 Bonucci
20 Padoin
21 Pirlo
22 Asamoah
23 Vidal
26 Lichtsteiner
30 Storari
33 Isla
34 Rubinho

but given his last showing in Turkey i think Gio deserved another start. And Osvaldo looks like he couldn't stop scoring in UEL(hopefully he keep that trend). My lineup prediction(expect a 4-3-3 but given we'll facing a fellow local team it probably will be 3-5-2);

-------------Buffon------------

Barzagli-----Bonucci----Chiellini

-----------Marchisio------------
Isla----------------------Asamoah
------Vidal---------Pogba--------

----------Giovinco--------------
-----------Osvaldo--------------

@

-------------Buffon------------

Barzagli--Bonucci--Chiellini--Asamoah

-------------Pirlo-------------
------Vidal------Marchisio-------

--Tevez-----------------Giovinco--
-----------Osvaldo--------------

at 4am cannot stand to watch tongue.gif, woke up and saw the draw result when most of the time we are leading 1-0.

reverse fixture with viola should be epic. hope conte put in first string players from first minute. we'll see at the Genoa game if conte rests some key players
*
by the looks of last night lineup for sure Mr Conte would start the strongest team against the "mighty" Genoa
when we're already leading the league by 14 freaking pts doh.gif

idk what to said bcoz we can afford dropping some pts in the league..while in Europa the next match
is a make or break. Still the same ol problem like in Coppa Italia, the lack of respect towards cup competition

missed the match last night. BTW still no news regarding March injury whether its serious or not..

well...i don't mind the win like this (slim/scrappy 1-0 win) till the end of the season as long as we
can capture both Scudetto & EL biggrin.gif

Parma unbeaten run start after Juve match..and then it was all ended by Juve. Thx to Carlitos.
But to bad Carlitos wouldn't be able to play against Napoli in the weekend sweat.gif

BTW a step closer to the numero 32 and 3rd golden star. I just hope we wrap up the title A.S.A.P
and shift the focus towards Europa League after that

Parma played well last night, even after 1 man down, they keep pressing. Too bad we can't test Mirante that much. I think ATM, Parma is much better than Milan or Inter.

And the goal by Molinaro ...
*
17 teams since Juve had failed to beat em and it takes Juve, the most in-form team on the league, again, to stop their run. But it's never easy.

seeing this Parma team in UEL next season would be great..if they can keep their current form intact

QUOTE(uzary @ Mar 27 2014, 01:24 PM)
how many more matches we need to win in order to secure the title? last night match really annoyed me as always we r ''champions league'' level team on the first half, then turned to ''only good enough for domestic tournament'' level on the second half. Parma could draw on win last night. this thing im not sure whether our players attitude problem, getting complacent with 2 goals lead or what, but 1 thing i believe if we r still like this, to win ucl the future will be very tough.

anyway forza Juve. always happy when we win, but just a bit disappointed we werent overpower them. i wish we will become super team like bayern soon.
*
this team is strong but complacency is their biggest kryptonite. Team like Bayern if they're leading by 2-0 at half time u can bet the
final score would be like 4-0 or worse 6-0 for the opponent (except for that weird UCL group stage match against Man City which is anomaly)

QUOTE(zaidi @ Mar 27 2014, 03:29 PM)
Mathematically 14 points adavantage is just about 5 games. So, we need to wait until game Week 34 to secure title. This is just about mid April.

Also need to consider 2 games Roma has in hand. So push by another 2 games if Roma wins both.
*
we're 100% at home since the start of the reason. Considering we've 4 home matches left with the opponents like Livorno, Bologna, Atalanta, Cagliari
i don't see why not Juve achieve the perfect home record for a season cool2.gif
