Set in the northern, central and southern region of gorgeous Malaysia, the SGNDT 12’ Regional Qualifiers will rally across 3 fiery battlegrounds – as Perlis, Kuala Lumpur, and Johor is transformed into an arena of heroes. Echoing along the traverse, the SGNDT 12’ Regional Qualifiers invites all local and international contenders to be part and parcel of this DotA tournament as regional and nationality locked teams are given full access to run amuck – injecting a massive surge of competitive edge to the scene like never before. Satiating the competitive-driven nature of participating players in Malaysia, the SGNDT 12’ Regional Qualifiers will be orchestrated in a no holds barred skirmish on all 3 regional qualifiers, tossing the 32 Team cap-limit out of the window and applying a ‘Battle Royale’ of sorts – where each and every team that have registered with due credentials are fully eligible to participate at the venue without the need to worry of securing a slot in the qualifiers. Anticipating an epic reprisal from all corners of the home turf, the SGNDT 12’ Regional Qualifiers will push the breaking limits of each team as they are torn into asunder – breaking lose from their earthly shackles  as their untapped skills reign in supreme frenzy. Bent on quenching the gaming gods comes the wailing of sirens towards the final nirvana - as the best teams across the region loggerhead in dazzling conquest to heroically clinch the qualification hot-seat into one of the most prestigious DotA tournaments that the world has come to known. You, the fellow guardians sworn to safeguard the sentinels and the scourges will soon be etched into DotA duty as the SMM Grand National DotA Tournament 2012: Grand Finals rears its metallic figurehead into the helm of DotA entrenchment this coming 13th – 16th of December at Selangor, Malaysia as the Grand prize-pool receives yet another cash injection this year. i) The SMM Grand National DotA Tournament 2012: Regional Qualifiers is open to Malaysian Citizens, International Participants, and a mixture of both Malaysian & International Participants in a single team.

ii) The SMM Grand National DotA Tournament 2012: Regional Qualifiers does not coincide nor restrict teams and/or players that have previously attended and/or qualified for the SMM 1 Malaysia DotA Championship 2012: State Qualifiers.

i) By participating in this tournament, participants fully and unconditionally agree to accept and to be bound by the aforesaid terms and conditions of the tournament and the decision of SMM, which is final. SMM reserves the rights to amend, change or rectify the following rules & regulations without prior notice.

ii) Teams and/or players that have successfully qualified from the SGNDT 12: Regional Qualifiers and Seeded Teams will not be allowed to participate in future SGNDT 12: Regional Qualifiers.

A: The SMM Grand National DotA Tournament 2012: Regional Qualifiers (SGNDT 12’ RQ) is a DotA tournament catered for all DotA lovers, consecutively running through 3 regional states across the country in search of DotA talent.

02# Q: How do I register my team to participate in the SGNDT 12’ Regional Qualifiers?
A: You can register your team at ‘www.smm.net.my’ by visiting the ‘Tourney Registration’ tab on the lower left section. Once there, simply select the respective state qualifier your team wishes to participate by filling in the registration form and click ‘submit’. Kindly take note that all entries filled in must be accurate and any incomplete and/or dubious entries will be disqualified.

03# Q: In which states will the SGNDT 12’ Regional Qualifiers take place?
A: The SGNDT 12’ Regional Qualifiers will take place in Perlis, Kuala Lumpur, and Johor.

04# Q: What time does the tournament begin?
A: Please arrive from as early as 9:00 am and report in at the respected Cyber Café’s verification help desk to ensure that your team fulfils all said requirements and is qualified to participate in the SGNDT 12’ Regional Qualifiers.

05# Q: Is there a cap limit to the total number of teams participating?
A: No. There will be no cap limit for the SGNDT 12’ Regional Qualifiers.

06# Q: What are the methods available for transacting payment?
A: A payment of RM 50 per team can be made directly at the event venue during tournament day or at the respective Cyber Café’s help desk prior to the event.

07# Q: What is the Official DotA Map Version for the Tournament?
A: The Official DotA Map Version for a tournament can be viewed in the DotA Rules & Regulations section. Please bear in mind that a future stable DotA Map Version will be used as see fit as the Official DotA Map for the tournament. Kindly take note that SMM reserves the rights to change the DotA Map Version without prior notice.

01# Q: What are the requirements for my team to participate in this tournament?
A: The SGNDT 12’ Regional Qualifiers is open to everybody. This includes Malaysian citizens, international participants, and/or a mixture of both Malaysian & international participants in a single team.

02# Q: How do I qualify my team for the SGNDT 12’ Grand Finals?
A: All teams that successfully book a spot for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th from each SGNDT 12’ Regional Qualifiers will be seeded through into the SGNDT 12’ Grand Finals.

03# Q: Will international participants be present at the SGNDT 12’ Grand Finals?
A: Yes. A registration slot for International Teams will be open where they can submit their application to be seeded through into the SGNDT 12’ Grand Finals.

04# Q: Is there a connection between the SMM 1 Malaysia DotA Championship Finals 2012 & the SGNDT 12’ Grand Finals?
A: The top winners from the S1MD 12’ Championship Finals will be automatically seeded through into the SGNDT 12’ Grand Finals to further compete for great prizes, euphoric challenges, and profound glory.

05# Q: When will the SMM 1 Malaysia DotA Championship Finals 2012 & the SGNDT 12’ Grand Finals ?
A: Both the SMM 1 Malaysia DotA Championship Finals 2012 & the SGNDT 12’ Grand Finals will be held back-to-back starting from the 13th till the 16th of December 2012 at Selangor Malaysia. More details to follow shortly so stay tune!

01# Q: Can the public/non-participants watch the entire event and will there be any entrance fees?
A: The public is more than welcome to watch any of our tournaments and is certainly encouraged to do so. There will be no entrance fees or invitational charges for fans and spectators. All DotArians, friends, and supporters are fully welcomed by SMM at all times!
