This time home button using diff manufacturing process.

iPhone don't have international warranty.

The iphone 5 price jacked higher and higher each day wow.  Surpassed the 4S record too. 
Also to note again warranty for iphone only valid for origin country.  Most apple product has international warranty but not iphone

If by last year trends machines shall get maxis sets and sell at rpp price..

Well i got my experience buying in macstudio but paying rm100 higher than rpp price on 4s last yearp

if anyone have spare DiGi/Celcom simcard, i can test it

Well, my friend which is working at Maxis part store said even Celcom & DiGi unit comes from Maxis. They only replace the warranty card so customer think it was Celcom/ DiGi get the phone direct from Apple. I dont know if it true or he just joking..

i don't know details yet, but there will be 8 maxis outlets that promoters will be assigned to, either in malls or just big maxis branches, and the phone will be launched in these 8 different outlets throughout the weekend. that's what my friend told me, but not sure if i will be working

I would say telco because the phone with plan is quite worth it.. plus now got EPP payment can pay slowly.. haha

i also using digi iplan..normally digi will sent an email to their customers for registration of interest..just wait and stay tune for it

I dun know, serious? My reply was meant for ignorant ppl like you whom I cannot believe still exist who believe every problem is a problem when you don't know what the problem is. The purple halo on ip5 is not something uncommon if you are into photography. Most of the DSLR users out there experiencing the same thing (termed as purple fringing) and Apple has acknowledge it is not an issue at all.

Our engineering team just gave me this information and we recommend that you angle the camera away from the bright light source when taking pictures. The purple flare in the image provided is considered normal behavior for iPhone 5's camera.

i'm not expecting a perfect phone as well. things like scratches are really annoying and cannot be defended at all especially u have it right out of the box. and the antenna issue was also a problem not worth defending as well.

With the strong rumours of Oct 19, I wonder how are the Garage Sales re-sellers coping with the extra stock? If they manage to reduce it to about RM2.5k I might actually consider.

what? Scratches were classified as "Normal" ?? No way I gonna accept that. Scratches are due to careless of their Foxconn or Apple's employer. I not gonna pay RM 2k+ for a phone come with scratches.

best way to solve for malaysian now is to buy with telcos and get the unit open immidiately in store.. anything can directly revert to them ~

Seems like more that favour black/slate than white iPhone 5.

apps and ecosystem is good. but i feel most of the main apps that i use are on other OS's aswell. TBH, im waitin for lumia920. that phone looks very cool and is really making me lust for it.. hehe.. i had this same feeling when iphone3g hit msia many years ago when compared to the Nokia's and BB's back den

overall, its all down to individual preference. Many ppl are hoping iphones GUI changes in iOS7, but im not puttin too much hope after seein 7 versions of iOS throughout the years. iOS's been great, but it takes more than a simple interface and super slow incremental updates to take my money. personally, i felt iphone4 was d last big super leap from apple. that fone really WOWed me.

I hope apple comes out with an iPhone6,7 or etc which will make my jaw drop like how i did with the iphone4

Yeah, i understand ur feeling, i aslo having the same feeling like ur when ip4s released. I jump to android system, and using two phone, HTC and Galaxy note. For a month,yes i really like it but after 2 month, it also kinda bored. Yeah i do custom Rom blah...blah... But when comes to apps, i already missed iphone. When more i using my new ipad, i feel more bored with android. Finally, iphone 5 on my hand.

Hahaha someone speculates from a 'source' then others get excited and ask the person who posts such detail questions as if he or she is the spokesperson with all the info then wait for next person to post and cycle continues......

Any reason why some of you intend to buy without contract? Only reason I can see if for those on pre-paid or have got phobias about a contract. If you have been using and most likely will use the same telco for at least the next one year period, I don't see why a contract is viewed as an issue at all?

it wasnt the ios4, but rather the screen+glass back which made me go breathless. such an awesome screen at that time. it was worth every single minute waiting at d launch in gardens midv. the iphones after that honestly didnt even make me go wow, apa lagi breathless...sigh. the final push was the iphone5. its a nice phone but nothin great compared to what i expect from apple.

but im not gonna b**** and complain like others. im just gonna vote with my money
