Keep track by using the app AppSales. Lists everthing, even shows the price history, so you know whether if a certain sales is worth it or not.

LOL I think they learnt from past experience. During the last two Android Market app sales, people just started to fail to continue the transaction. Had to wait till midnight for 'server refresh'. A few of us even kena block for few days, had to go to maybank branch to settle.

Was pleasantly surprised nothing happened this time. haha.
