Guys, beware during buying espresso machines from the US.
They used different voltage 110v.
I bought Gaggia Classic thinking with step down transformer it would work.
However, the step down transformer requirement of 1000W is very expensive and bulky.
In the end, I returned both back to Amazon and Fry's Electronics.
If you need to import, get it from UK or Aus due to same voltage requirement with Malaysia.
EDIT : Unless the machine could accept 110v-240v, you're safe to get it. But it's very rare to have dual voltage because the boilers used are based on resistance heating. Different voltage, different heating element resistors value.
