Nowdays I do french press at home, I realize, at home (I bought starbucks dark roast), at starbucks or at coffee beans, I always get the black coffee that I like.
And when I start going to these coffee shops like, Artisan, or Whisk, their coffee always taste sourish to me, is this normal? Or this is what they call Flowerly taste? |

QUOTE(lostasylum @ Dec 2 2014, 08:37 AM) It will be out of your range when they get launch. They are getting funding fast. If they are performing as advertised it's not priced higher than their competitors. If u don't make espresso a cheap hario will do |

Just tried Coffea Coffee's COE 2011 Rwanda.. Aromatic and nice.. But I guess the 1:17 ratio is too little.. Gonna try 1:19 and see. Roast date is 24/11..
And thanks to patryn, I pledged for the ROK grinder at $129.. I'm just a sucker for manual grinders.. I'm a little skeptical about the delrin gear and the wobbly burrs though. Anyway, my PF holder from the HG guys have a delrin collar.. It's like a tank.. So I hope it's as tough. This post has been edited by mel5582: Dec 2 2014, 04:43 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |
