In Petronas, fresh graduate will be entitled to as follows:

1) Starting salary: RM4000
2) After a year of working, additional RM800 - RM1000 will be added to the salary, provided you are technical employee
3) Bonus wise: depending on the performance rating for the year, minimum will be 2 months
4) Medical insurance, nothing to shout about.

I know a guy who is trying to get into Exxon but is struggling due to lack of vacancies.
I believe if someone were to look at the monetary benefits,given the chance by exxon,he should go straight and accept the offer.

Any idea how is the salary package for a junior engineer in Exxon with three years of working experience?

Petronas: RM6000 (G2/senior E1)
Shell: RM10300 (finish 3 yrs G scheme and step into JG5)

Lol. Now tht's someone who did their homework right. But honestly after finishing their G scheme, the pay rise is literally peanuts compared to the initial 3 years. Plus pressure to 'earn your keep' is jack high.

I've got the opportunity to be an intern in controller's dpmt 4 abt 7 mths n in my point of view, the staffs r all very supportive n helpful.

Overall, they really prioritize on safety in everything dat u did.U r given with a list of safety training dat must be completed within certain time frames.
Even though I'm just an intern, they still gave me opportunities to join a few in-house trainings n be part of the safety committees.

The thing dat I like the most is when the tasks dat hv been given to me bcame more challenging n involved many analysis after they saw dat I've got more familiar with the system/operation.
I'm not so sure abt other dpmts but so far all da staffs frm diff dpmts dat i've worked with r also very cooperative.

I would like to ask help from anyone who has worked for or gone through Exxon Mobil's Security Analyst position as I would like to know what question they will ask during interview for the position of security analyst as I was recently contacted by ManPower to go for the interview which will be in a few days time.

Are you attached to emit or gso , contract or permenant?what is the job description?

Work Description:

- Analyse current network security information in SharePoint, Words, Access database, Lotus Notes, etc.

- Collate and migrate network security information and import to a new Firewall Management tool


Primary Skill Set:

* Microsoft Office (Excel, Words, etc)
* Microsoft SharePoint
* Data Entry

Secondary Skill Set:

* Basic network security understanding

Communication skills:

* Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skill
* Resourceful, flexible and team player

im not sure whether it's emit or gso. Because the agent didn't mentioned to me anything about that other than the role position.
