out of curiosity IwanAGP,
asking u as an HW engineer, could i make a extended cover with AA battery slots so i can use it If so that would be freaking awesome and we can just pop AA and make calls like a boss. -pro's cheap battery 0 hour charging time, just enter shop and buy 2 AA modify adapter/case for other phone usage have 3200mah from high performance AA rechargeable. -con's risk of exploding risk of leaking risk of poping out when talking adds a weird bulk Added on September 26, 2012, 11:38 am QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Sep 26 2012, 01:33 PM) when i make an ID i will sign in and ask them hop to our discussion This post has been edited by springfall: Sep 26 2012, 11:38 AM |

QUOTE(abundai @ Sep 26 2012, 02:22 PM) if ur group chat is active like 1 chat per 10secs or sumtin n ur concern on ur battery life, i suggest u leave that grup :-).. the best thing about lean over faux is that once sr is off, downclock to 740 ranges are possible with same smooth perfomance. faux cannot do that for me.or silent it for 8 hours at least.. i also have grup chat, but i never had any issue of watsapp draining lots of power.. in a day, i do get at least 200 chat.. btw, im in cna 3.6 n the kernel it came with, faux.. so far performance is similar to lean kernel.. |

QUOTE(kuance @ Sep 26 2012, 03:55 PM) thanks guys for the respond... now I am looking into CNA stock kernel... and under Kernel Control. I see some option to play with. these are not needed.zRAM. and Kernel samepage merging (KSM)... For zRam it says compress memory for increased virtual capacity. For KSM, it says it reduces physical memory requirement and improves performance. I dont dare activate it eventhou it sounds promising. anyone play with this setting before? Maybe giving some idea on the "side effect"? if there is any... believe me.. itz made for lower spec phones or older models. for me, compressing this n that and so will make the processor work harder un compressing, using more battery/ |

if possible reduce sampling rate time, and increase timer rate.
reduce boost rate and if u purchased kernal modders, set up threshold to 40-60% range, and not 80% defult. |

QUOTE(vernon91 @ Sep 26 2012, 04:14 PM) just a note, don undervolt unless u know how or know wat are u doing.. if save only 20 min or so, if do very extreme..if not ur phone might be hanging and freezing a lot... plus undervolt doesnt really save much of battery life imma skip his question or later bootloop have to help.. Added on September 26, 2012, 2:18 pm QUOTE(kuance @ Sep 26 2012, 04:11 PM) lol... seems like i am learning something.. THANKS u're on stock rite, seeing u got conservative goverSince to make it save more batt.. i can see governer setting..since i am not heavy user.. maybe some whatsapp, flipboard and so.. i set it to "Conservative". and for the Undervolt under the "performance" setting of CNA 3.6. Anyone undervolt them at those specify processor speed? if yes... mind to share ur voltage used for those processes speed most... maybe 350mhz, 520mhz, and 700 mhz. umm for now, just stick to conservative, and set max 900mhz min, as low as u can. then read more be4 u start ulv and tweaking This post has been edited by springfall: Sep 26 2012, 02:18 PM |

QUOTE(kuance @ Sep 26 2012, 04:26 PM) Nop... im not on stock.. im on CNA 3.6 but of coz stock kernel of CNA. if that is how i need to explain... maybe i use the wrong term hahaha.. but CNA3.6 do allow conservative. cna stock kernal is faux.Since i dont have to do anything.. then i'll just set to conservative and max to 900mhz.. thanks guys : ) yeah totally 4got lean is the way to go QUOTE(amduser @ Sep 26 2012, 04:27 PM) not worth to undervolt, underclock is better as you might get freeze or crash only, undervolt might make your Gnex cannot boot up if i crash suddenly unless done properly. Added on September 26, 2012, 2:32 pm QUOTE(kuance @ Sep 26 2012, 04:29 PM) For those lean kernel user... is it as simple as flash and DONE matter? or lean is build to allow us to customize? what my question mean is... since im noob. flashing JUST only lean kernel will helps if i dont volt this power that.. lol... getting confused my friend?yeah just flash lean and set itz clock max 930 and min 180 well of course u must get the exp5 4.3 180 version lah. QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Sep 26 2012, 04:29 PM) ondemand for me interactive, i never like it.. some kernal only have that.. This post has been edited by springfall: Sep 26 2012, 02:32 PM |

QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Sep 26 2012, 06:14 PM) This is creepy. But it's not that correct. Some stops are wrong like this bus isn't going through KL Tower. But... It's awesome to be at least functional now u know how i feel, the creepyness of google telling u when to take bus home..The bus time is accurate too. Was waiting at bus stop, open Google now, it asked me to take U24 and say arrival in XX mins. Bus arrived a bit earlier but consider the time for passengers to get on then it's accurate! Even tell me ETA by taking public transport. Ownhere map thou. Press navigate then show me where the bus stops and where I need to walk. Neat enough![attachmentid=3069655] at least mine is correct some people may like this! http://www.news.com.au/travel/news/google-...0-1226481772082 |

QUOTE(DarkSilver @ Sep 26 2012, 06:32 PM) holy cow, tats freaking huge... QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Sep 26 2012, 07:22 PM) That one cannot la now u feeling it, awesome eh Btw... Have been a while since I last travelled down KL. Wow... Most bus stops are displaying time of arrival for each bus. But just now when i'm waiting, all write 'Akan Tiba' Google told me 1h48m to reach home. I'm already home I guess the stops for the route is set as if the bus will stop at some stops for certain time (like... Chow Kit monorail 10mins stop), lengthening the estimated time required to travel. Anyway, it's good and is usable in KL It will choose the best route. Like when I'm near a LRT station, it will tell me how many min walk to which LRT Station then how many mins later LRT will arrive and what time I'll reach home. Damn awesome QUOTE(amduser @ Sep 26 2012, 07:38 PM) not bad la, at least you can estimate the time, if it works on KTM then it would be nice, star LRT and kelana jaya line is quite punctual for me, got walking, bus, train, ferry numbers, time, etanow im just waiting it for estimate cost of travel |
