my advise is... save ur money and strongly agreed with Quazacolt..because i am the one who convert from carb to injection..and i dont feel any save in fuel consumption..still remain the same, and the power as well, nothing much different..carb somehow is more powerful than injection..dun get me wrong..i mean standard carb vs standard injection..unless u modified injection kaw2..

Gonna cost to 1.2k-1.5k including labor charge... Try to get from those has transplanted their engine because they might let it go for cheaper price.

Might need to replace few sensors, such as O2 sensor.

Fact: U might get slightly better fuel consumption, and the pick up gonna be worst unless you gonna mod it in future.

If u really on fuel saving, just get your carburetor serviced and tuned. And replace your wear & tear parts to get better fuel consumption.

Would like to add another thing, SVDO efi fuel consumption better than MMC efi, just from my own observation. Correct me if I'm wrong... smile.gif

Not replace. install o2 sensor.. means you need the extractor with the hole for the o2 sensor. short term solution is to drill.

EFI will improve slightly on the efficiency, because the ECU will change the engine performance according to the condition. Carbies only have one setting. Ofcourse Carbies will feel powerful because they either slightly rich or there is no limiting factor in emission. Situation is different for EFI and things are much more complex. However, in general stand point, getting the engine tuned correctly will result in better fuel economy and better power. Normal proton service centers have the tool to do it. Else an engine management is another option.

SVDO has an addition sensor to track the timing. That is why they're slightly refined and sensitive to changes. My choice will be MMC, but for daily driven SVDO. If you're tight on budget, just get the engine cleaned, carburator serviced and tune properly. Should improve on the consumption. Just that nowadays it's hard to find someone with such skill sets. From what I know Uncle Fstrader is one of the few.

What I meant was he will get a set of sensors when he purchase the fuel injection system... He might need to change as the sensors might not be functioning 100% perfectly due to its age. So I used the term 'replace', and yeah he need to install O2 sensor on the extractor as carb don't have it... smile.gif

mitsu carb or siemens bro?
if mitsu still can tune using e-manage to get better FC, done last time to my wira 1.6, all stock condition, then add e-manage (got it by swap my audio system with it.. hehe)

Yes, there is certain batch of 4G92P and 4G93 don't have O2 sensor.
