WOW isn't like RO where you can 1 man show the whole game. WOW actaully needs players to make it fun and to be able to do instances. even if you get god-like gear in a pirate server, there would be no fun doing BWL all alone.

You can't even zone in to MC/BWL/Ony alone, you need a raid party.
It really is very pointless to play wow on lan. Tried it once and was damn hell sad. Pay for the real thing man, it's worth it

I have tried this

I got the real WoW AND I play on Battle.Net tooo....I have tested out this so-called Offline or "Private WoW" Server softwares. First of all , setting up could be a pain. Seriously , it takes sometime to get things worked (I had to delete WoW 1.9 , re-install it back , update to 1.8)....Then , about the quests. Not all Quests do work on Offline WoW/Private WoW servers...For example ,in Northshine Abby (hopefully I got it right) , you could not help that guard who needs help killing wolf..It simply does not work. Some spells also do not work on so-called Offline WoW server. Overall , I am sad with everything...First of all , its so-so , you can't get the real fun of playing Wow , second its "ciplak" and not "tulen". Third , it just takes sometime to understand on how-to set the server up

maybe some people just don't know the proper name of MMORPG or just don't understand what it means.

You have to give credit to those dudes who are trying to make WoW work on LAN though... Sure takes a lot of brains to make such a thing work.

but doesn't take much to find out that it is boring to play alone or with a community of 100 people.

Lol, imagine playing the game with 2k ping and that is when the server is still new and low population.
