Just to share with you for the latest price update which I found when I was shopping for my set of 18" tyres last week. All the prices are from Perkhidmatan Tayar Hin Leong located in Jalan Kapar, Klang:-
Size: 225/40/18: 1) Toyo C1S : RM 600 each 2) Michelin PS3 : RM 650 each 3) Neuton NT3000 (Made in Indonesia) : RM 280 each 4) Roadstone (Nexen) N3000 (Made in Korea) : RM 385 each 5) Nankang Ultra II (Made in Taiwan) : RM 360 each 6) Yokohama A.Drive R1 (Made in Philippines) : RM 410 each 7) Yokohama S.Drive (Made in Japan) : RM 550 each 8) Achilles ATR Sport 2 (Indonesia) : RM 320 each These are the prices that the lady boss quoted me & I opted for a set of 4 pcs A.Drive R1 as it's a very durable lasting tyre which I've used before. Fitting in to my daily ride. I used quite a lot of various brands of tyres for the past years, from cheap unheard brands to high end brands. Previously before my change to Yokohama R1, my daily ride was fitted with Continental Sport Contact 3 & it costs me RM880 each but it was marvelous for both dry & wet road conditions. I dare to go up to 150 km/h during rainy road condition on highway with CSC3. If money is not an issue for u, then go for the CSC5. |

If not I will already suggest Assy 2 (Rm 800++) to him. |
