How to set/sent/received sms in Ipad 2, celsom simcard in Ipad2

i'm a newbie here. just bought an Ipad2 WIFI + 4G yesterday. Got a problem, can i received a sms from a friend using normal phone/galaxy tab or other smartphone like a normal phone do? How to set it up? where can i read/look my received sms? thanks

ipad's only function for sim card is for cellular data, not texting/calling

ok, thanks. is there any solution i can install/use Viber/Watsupp in my Ipad? after download and install the software,they will sent an activation code thru sms. so where can i read the sms? is it i hv to take out the simcard n place it in my Iphone?

there's an app in the cydia store call swirly sms, around rm15 after coversion. i used this before, that's with ios 5.1.1.
