I want to upgrade my World of Warcraft account from my starter's account. However, it seems that the only way to do it is via paypal (59.99 USD)

is there any other way I can upgrade it?

Also, where can I buy a gamecard online?

You can use services like offgamers (if you want to pay via online banking) or find someone and purchase it (aka do a bank transfer and purchase it)

i've just upgraded my account, but i'm still getting the free trial popup while loading. I can join guilds now, but I still can't whisper or talk in trade.

How long does this upgrade process take? Or is this a bug?

I thought Maybank only have Visa debit card.

You usually never have to do anything. Anyway, why don't you try to use your card with paypal first.

debit kad hanya visa for maybank..

u need to "open" your debit card to accept all online transactions. I forgot how but I remember involving calling them and going to ATM. without opening I think can't use for most online payments.
