Just realised airasiago.com is not local payment gateway.

According to cimbclicks... it says FR... france???

So yes, bookings via airasiago.com will incur 0.8% grumble.gif

bear in mind air ticket is not eligible for CIMB cash rebate, meaning you'll get 0.8% fee , but 0.2% rebate.

the booking for airasiago, not airasia... i was hoping i would get 5% this was for a hotel not air tickets...

and also seriously i didn't think i was gonna get 0.8% for airasiago

I am well aware of the keyword 'airasiago'.

Since AirAsiaGo offers booking both flight and hotel booking through the same payment gateway, I am not that optimistic it has the capability to differentiate your booking type (air or hotel). Hence there is a likelihood the payment gateway is registered under air ticket (Not sure).

Or better still, if it is under 'Online' category MCC.

i remember reading somewhere that purchasing from xiaomi malaysia comes with additional cross border fee for using cimb cr?

well, the description in cimbclicks is MOLPAY*XMSB-XIAOMIMALA SELANGOR MY, no additional 0.8% cross border fee though.

A payment gateway within Malaysia will not have cross border fee.

Hi,may I ask if using SCB card for Paypal (paying in USD) have any cross border fee charged or not?

Even if no cross border fee, there is a mark up fee of 1%?

Thanks

based on post #1, it's very likely you will be charged cross border fee.
what is that 'mark up fee' of 1%? are you referring to the cross border fee?
