QUOTE(midnight_plue @ Dec 9 2014, 04:46 PM) yup, online and foreign currency. if paypal, and not MYR, you don't have this cross border fee... cause already incurred charges due to forex.use a lot of paypal and buy stuff from international locations, so... don't see it's use to me now. LOL local wise i buy mostly from lelong, or those indie online seller, not applicable for the cross border fees d |

Just realised airasiago.com is not local payment gateway.
According to cimbclicks... it says FR... france??? So yes, bookings via airasiago.com will incur 0.8% |

QUOTE(laymank @ Dec 22 2015, 12:23 PM) bear in mind air ticket is not eligible for CIMB cash rebate, meaning you'll get 0.8% fee , but 0.2% rebate. the booking for airasiago, not airasia... i was hoping i would get 5% this was for a hotel not air tickets... and also seriously i didn't think i was gonna get 0.8% for airasiago |

QUOTE(hitch80 @ Dec 30 2016, 12:04 AM) I am not so sure about this cross border fee being a fixed % rate. Coz I am using the CIMB card for spotify. Initially spotify will charge the exact amount of RM22.40. After the final amount, the first month was RM22.58 and second month was RM22.62. Is it possible that it relates to the currency exchange rates? With the current ringgit condition, it might gets higher Recently reported. This cross border fees increased from 0.8% to 1.0%.Do your own calculation and you will know |

QUOTE(sneaker @ Jan 5 2018, 10:28 PM) CIMB cash rebate & Petronas CC charge 1% at PS Store. Anyone know if other bank CC also charge the same? You can follow the list in post 1. Mst bank cards i have do not charge except cimb. I read somewhere or someone in forum mentioned, the fee only charged on cimb cards that pay cash rebate. Supposedly not all cimb card.Cancelled my cimb card anyway. Whatever. |
