hi sifus, i got a question.
i accidentally paid Lazada using PayPal with my CIMB card and kena charge 1% cross-border fee. then i found a better deal elsewhere and cancelled the order, so Lazada refund Paypal that refund my CIMB card in full but without the 1%. Called CS to dispute the 1%, they say this is not normal procedure and are asking to file a dispute form. The gotcha is that I need to pay RM15 if they reject the dispute. Anyone successfully got the cross-border fee refunded due to a reversed transaction? Else, I will just pay the 1%, its just RM3x. |

Now Shopee changed payment gateway to iPay88. So no more 1% cross-border fees incurred.

I was charged the cross border fee 1% on 30 Aug 2018 by Standard Chartered CC (first time use SC on shopee). So far no charge to HSBC.

Is there a list of website that triggers the cross border fee? That way, the users can use the right CC for these websites.
