The further i think, it is just a correction, based on my observation.

Few weeks before already discuss about high level of CPO storage, then the price waterfall.
Did the trader taking advantage to short? Yes, of course trader like chef love money
When the price waterfall, why the customer (China and India) didn't buy more and put into storage? because they want a bargain deal which benefit their own country

Adding this two factors, the price is indicating the government to do reduce the export tax on CPO, because it is deem too expensive for the customer. All the while, government has been collecting income tax, export tax and windfall tax in palm oil industry. As i said, if its drop around the cost of planter, it will be a disaster to the government.

this one is grey area i would say, it could be taxable or non-taxable

Capital gain no need tax, but if your movement in stock market is frequent, the share trading might treat as business income, therefore it is taxable.

Normally for small fries like us, no need to bother, unless u earn few hundred thousand and buy car/house with cash. Be mentally prepare for LHDN letter for enquiry if u do not declare tax.

P/S : Tax evasion might face jail, this part scare people only. As long u pay the fine, government happy u happy.

2nd year business loss carry forward, so 3rd year net taxable income would be RM50k.

Business loss can only offset against future taxable income, cannot claim back

JCY from peak 1.6 drop till 0.75, about 50%+ drop
Amedia from peak 1.1 drop til 0.51, almost the same range as JCY
