Hirohiko Araki's famous manga finally gets an anime adaptation. Helmed by David production which is actually Gonzo in disguise, the anime has been anticipated for a long time

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (ジョジョの奇妙な冒険 JoJo no Kimyō na Bōken) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki. It was originally serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1987 to 2002, before being transferred to the monthly seinen magazine Ultra Jump in 2004. The current story arc, JoJolion, started in 2011. It is currently Shueisha's second longest running manga series with 106 volumes and counting (only Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Kōen-mae Hashutsujo, with over 170 volumes, has more). It was previously the longest manga not to have a TV anime adaptation.

Please start with Jonathan Joestar, his arc deserve to be told as without him, there is no Joseph, Jyotaro, even Dio wouldnt got a stand if without his body. And my favourite Jojo's generation so far is Stone Ocean coz the hero is female Jojo.

No. I didn't hear anything about any movie production in the episode.

Even in one of the forum link you provide, most of it only discussed about the 3rd part of the franchise, and they hoped for some of the veteran seiyuus from the previous Stardust Crusader ovas to make their comeback in the new series, which will be impossible as the anime production company have signed the contract with the new seiyuus as you can see in the new All Star Battle game for ps3.

Seriously, Koyasu did not even touch anything about anime or live action film production.
All he said was his experience during and after his audition process as Dio for the 2012 anime, and some events that happened between he and his fellow seiyuu members of the 2012 anime at the voice recording studio. That is all.

So far, I am satisfied with all the voice actors in line except for the Vento Aureo part (Namikawa Daisuke as GioGio is a nice choice though).
By the way, the 5th pv/trailer of ASB has been released last week, revealing some other playable characters besides main characters.

BTW Rohan's VA sucks,always had the impression that he had coarse voice to accompany his harsh attitude. in ASB he had very soft voice.

I was wondering when it will be aired! The question now is whether it will be a 2 or 3 cour series.

i think 2 cours will be enough,considering its monster-of-the-week formula :-)

24 arcana + 9 gods at least 33 episodes

Makes sense since 2 cour seems to be the trend these days. Besides, not all the fights are integral to the plot unlike, say, Part 4 where everything is nearly interconnected.

I'm also hoping David Productions managed to get the rights to use more songs.

from the clip i noticed this version is much closer to the actual comic, i'm sure this will be a more closer adaptation to the, if compared this to the ones found in year 2000

If it's going to be 25+ episodes, a 2nd OP is going to be very likely. As for the ED, I'm surprised the second episode didn't have a proper one and they didn't even tease us with a preview of what might be the possible ED song.
